Editor’s note

by Rotem Yaniv

Well, here we are again. It’s been a long semester, full of school-work, part-time jobs and morning walks in the snow for lack of public transportation. I often asked myself why I keep spending time and effort on this publication.

I’m now completely certain it was worth it. Forget about the fact that I find the articles we got this semester interesting: it’s their writers’ collaborative attitude that encourage me the most.

Some of the articles we received were strange, I must admit. Somebody submitted a monologue about wanting to lick a Picasso. I hesitated at first, but then thought, isn’t this what the Rostrum is all about? You can read it on page 18.

We are publishing any views students may have on any subject. I believe students have unique points of view about the world – looking at it with books and classes and professors around us, we just might come up with something original to say on the staff that goes on outside campus.

Why not, when you think about it, why not?
